A co-worker of mine gave me "A Prayer for You" several years ago. I have carried that little scrap of paper around with me everywhere I have lived and always keep it at my computer desk. Everytime I see it, I am reminded of the kindness and caring that people are really capable of. Thanks Marie.

I heard the song "Wear Sunscreen" by Mary Schmich of the Chicago Tribune on a "Stars On Ice" show one time and had to get the words to it. If you would like, you can hear the song performed by Baz Luhrmann and see the lyrics.

In honor of St. Patricks Day, this "Irish Prayer" appeared in Dear Abby. I really like the fact that it puts emphasis on the simple things in life. The things that we can control.
